The Jackson Micropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties, one in Wyoming and one in Idaho, anchored by the town of Jackson.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 24,250 people, 9,766 households, and 5,638 families residing within the μSA.

The racial makeup of the μSA was 93.03% White, 0.15% African American, 0.54% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 4.63% from other races, and 1.12% from two or more races.

Males had a median income of $33,440 versus $25,688 for females.
