[1][2] Shortly after he turned 17, Andersen began playing with AGF's U-19 team.
Andersen did well with the U19s, which earned him his professional debut on 24 May 2021 in the Danish Superliga against FC Midtjylland, where he came on from the bench, playing the last 11 minutes of the game.
[2] In February 2023, Andersen signed his first professional contract with AGF; a deal until June 2025 and which also included that from summer 2023 he would become a permanent part of the first team squad.
[5] During AGF's training camp in January 2025, Andersen suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, which was expected to keep him out for the next 10-12 months.
