Jacqueline Galant

Jacqueline Galant (French pronunciation: [ʒaklin ɡalɑ̃]) is a Belgian politician from the Mouvement Réformateur.

She was the Minister of Mobility, responsible for Belgocontrol and the National Railway Company of Belgium, in the federal Belgian Michel Government from 11 October 2014 until she resigned on 15 April 2016 in the wake of the 2016 Brussels bombings.

She was the daughter of the mayor of Jurbise, Jacques Galant, from the Christian Social Party.

[2] When the Michel Government was sworn in on 11 October 2014, Galant became the Minister of Mobility.

Galant claimed not to know of such a report, but leaked documents showed that she had been informed about them.
