Jacques Depelchin

[1][2] He is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Ota Benga International Alliance for Peace in the DR Congo.

After completing his education, he taught African History at a number of universities in the United States, in his home country, in Mozambique and Tanzania.

[1] Depelchin worked as a secretariat for the Alliance of Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Congo,[3] which helped bring Laurent-Désiré Kabila to power.

[4] From 1996-2002, he was a member of the Rally for Congolese Democracy,[1] opposing Kabila,[3] being identified in 2000 by The New York Times as among the group's leaders.
