Jafarabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان جعفرآباد) is in the Central District[a] of Jafarabad County, Qom province, Iran.

[3] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Gazeran,[4] now the city of Jafariyeh.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of Jafarabad District[b] in Qom County) was 8,699 in 1,995 households.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,676 in 2,760 households.
