Jafariyeh (Persian: جعفريه)[a] is a city in the Central District[b] of Jafarabad County, Qom province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county[5] and the district.
[6] As the village of Gazeran, it was the capital of Jafarabad Rural District[7] until its capital was transferred to the village of Jafarabad.
[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 6,635 in 1,516 households, when it was capital of Jafarabad District[c] in Qom County.
[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 9,387 people in 2,552 households.
