James Bradley Spencer (April 26, 1781 – March 26, 1848) was a U.S. Representative from New York, serving one term from 1837 to 1839.
Born in Salisbury, Connecticut, Spencer received a limited education.
He moved to Franklin County, New York, and settled in Fort Covington.
He raised a company for the War of 1812, and served as Captain in the Twenty-ninth United States Infantry.
