James Bourne, (Dalby, Lincolnshire 1773 - Sutton Coldfield 1854)[1] was a water-colour landscape painter, working in London in the early part of the nineteenth century[2] who later became a Methodist minister.
[1] His daughter was Edmunda Bourne, mother of Margaret Jane Benson.
[2] They include a view of Dalby Hall, in Lincolnshire, which was owned by his brother.
[5] An engraving of the hall after a drawing by Bourne was published in the Copper-plate Magazine in 1801.
