James A. Dellow (March 22, 1887 – February 27, 1970) was a Canadian middle and distance runner of the 1910s.
[2] He and his older brother William excelled in local middle distance and marathon events.
In 1910, four laps of a half mile track, Dellow led the field, followed by three other local boys.
In 1912, six miles on the same track, he was second behind Jim Corkery, with brother Bill coming in fourth.
He was not to start too fast, to pace himself not faster than six minutes for the first mile, and even if he came in 50th or 100th, keep something in reserve to finish.
