James Dickey (basketball, born 1996)

He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with whom he was the 2017–18 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

[1] Dickey attended and played basketball at Word of God Christian Academy in North Carolina.

[1] In 2016–17 as a redshirt freshman, Dickey averaged 6.3 points, 7.2 rebounds (3rd in the Southern Conference), and 1.3 blocks (2nd) per game for the UNC Greensboro Spartans.

[1] Dickey set a UNCG single-game record with eight blocks against East Tennessee State on February 12, 2018.

[1] Dickey helped UNC Greensboro reach the NCAA Tournament before losing in the first round to Gonzaga.

[12] On November 28, 2021, Dickey signed with Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League.

[14] On May 24, 2024, Dickey signed with Pelita Jaya of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL),[15] replacing Thomas Robinson.
