In 2017, Mustich became the founding executive producer of the Barnes & Noble Podcast, for which he has conducted interviews with writers such as Questlove,[7] Nassim Nicholas Taleb,[8] Lidia Bastianich,[9] Steven Pinker,[10] and Michael Wolf.
[11] In 2007, Mustich was founding editor of the Barnes & Noble Review, an online literary journal.
[12] As editor of the Review he has conducted in-depth interviews with many leading authors, including Philip Roth,[13] Salman Rushdie,[14] Philip Pullman,[15] Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie,[16] Neal Stephenson,[17] Richard Price,[18] Elmore Leonard,[19] Azar Nafisi,[20] and Robert Caro.
