James Parker Hall (1871-1928) was an American legal scholar and university administrator who served as dean of the University of Chicago Law School between 1904 and 1928.
cum laude and served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Hall joined the faculty of the University of Chicago Law School at its founding in 1902.

During the First World War, he served as a major in the department of Judge Advocate.
