James Pascoe

James Pascoe (November 29, 1863 – September 7, 1931) was a British-born farmer and political figure in Saskatchewan.

He was born in Cornwall on November 29, 1863, the son of John Pascoe and Marjorie Wills, and came to Canada around 1870.

[1][2] The family first settled in North Dorchester, Ontario; in 1892, his parents moved to a homestead near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where they spent the rest of their lives.

[4] He died at the age of 67 of a heart attack in a Moose Jaw suburb while attempting to shovel away sand that had been blown around his car by the wind.

[5][6] His son James Ernest was also a Moose Jaw mayor and served in the Canadian House of Commons.
