James V. McClintic

James Vernon McClintic (September 8, 1878 – April 22, 1948) was an American politician and a U.S. Representative from Oklahoma.

Born near Bremond, Texas, McClintic was the son of George Vance and Emma Clay Proctor Mc Clintic.

Having studied law at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., McClintic was admitted to the bar in 1928 and licensed to practice in all the courts of Oklahoma.

McClintic once again attempted to secure a Democratic Party nomination to fill a vacancy in the 67th Congress, but was again unsuccessful.

On a train en route to Los Angeles, McClintic died from a heart attack near Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, on April 22, 1948.
