James (Jamie) Alvord III (born (1990-02-17)February 17, 1990) is an American male sprint track cyclist, representing Edge Cycling Team.
Alvord represented the United States at the Track Pan American Continental Championships, in San Juan, Argentina.
[5] Alvord took up cycling at a young age, following in the path of his father Jim, who was a competitive cyclist during the 1980s.
[8] In 2013, a month after breaking his scapula and three ribs, Alvord and teammate Leandro Bottasso of Argentina won Tandemonium.
In 2021, Alvord won the Sprint, Time Trial and Team Sprint titles at his home track,[11] the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
