Jamie Burke (rugby union)

Jamie Burke (born October 15, 1980, in Cherry Point, North Carolina) is a former American rugby union player and now coach.

Jamie Burke began playing rugby in 1998 at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, where she went on to earn All-American Honors in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.

[4] She made her debut for the USA National Team in 2004 against the New Zealand Black Ferns and has played in the 2006, 2010, and 2014 Women's Rugby World Cups.

Jamie recently finished a graduate degree at the University of New Hampshire, where she has published several articles related to outdoor education and culturally relevant schooling.

[14] In 2020, Jamie was named as the best women's tighthead prop of all time for on-field accolades,[15] as well as inducted into the USA Rugby Hall of Fame.
