Jane Grenville

Jane Clare Grenville, OBE, FSA (born 17 June 1958) is a British archaeologist and academic, specialising in the archaeology of medieval buildings.

[2] She studied archaeology and anthropology at Girton College, Cambridge, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1983: as per tradition, her BA was promoted to a Master of Arts (MA Cantab) degree.

[5][3] As a field archaeologist, Grenville has undertaken excavations in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Crete, Syria, and Libya.

[1] On 4 July 2002, Grenville was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (FSA).

[9] In the 2014 Queen's Birthday Honours, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to higher education.
