Paliz (Persian: پالیز)[a] is a city in the Central District of Asadabad County, Hamadan province, Iran.

As the village of Jannatabad, it was the capital of Seyyed Jamal ol Din Rural District[4] until its capital was transferred to the village of Vandarabad.

[5] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,460 in 623 households, when it was the village of Jannatabad in Seyyed Jamal ol Din Rural District.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,418 people in 763 households.

[2] In 2020, Jannatabad was merged with the village of Mazraeh-ye Bid and elevated to city status as Paliz.
