Johannes Christoffel Breedt (born 4 June 1959) is a South African former rugby union player.
He led his team to four Currie Cup finals, finishing runner–up on each occasion.
[2] Breedt made his test debut for the Springboks against the visiting New Zealand Cavaliers on 10 May 1986 at Newlands in Cape Town.
[3] Breedt was one of the five nominees for 1985 SA Rugby player of the Year award.
The other nominees for the award were Schalk Burger, Gerrie Sonnekus, Danie Gerber and the eventual winner of the award, Naas Botha.
