Jared Chipman Troop (ca 1837 – 27 July 1876) was a lawyer and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He represented Annapolis County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1867 to 1874.
He was part of a delegation sent to England in 1868 to attempt to have the Union with Canada repealed.
He served as a minister without portfolio from 1867 to 1870, when he was named speaker for the assembly after the death of John Joseph Marshall.
