Jayant Shridhar Tilak

Jayant Shridhar Tilak (12 October 1921 – 23 April 2001), generally referred to as Jayantrao Tilak, was a politician from Indian National Congress and was a member of the Parliament of India representing Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament.

[2] Jayantrao's father, Shridhar Balwant Tilak was a campaigner for social reforms in India.

Dispute with family members and trustees of Kesari led Shridharpant to commit suicide in 1928.

Jayant Tilak's nephew Shailesh is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
