Jean M. Bartunek

Jean M. Bartunek (born 1944) is an American management scientist whose research interests include change management and the relations between business and academia.

[2] Bartunek was born October 25, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio; she is a sister of the Society of the Sacred Heart.

She joined the Carroll School of Management faculty as an assistant professor in 1977, was promoted to full professor in 1990, and was given the Robert A. and Evelyn J. Ferris Chair in 2004.

She served as president of the Academy of Management for the 2001–2002 term, and has been a trustee of Maryville University since 2003.
