Jeanne W. Ross

1952) is an American organizational theorist and principal research scientist at MIT Sloan School of Management and the MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR),[1][2] specializes in Enterprise Architecture, ICT and Management.

[6] After her graduation in 1978 Ross started her academic career as assistant professor at St. Norbert College.

From 1989 to 1993 she was assistant professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and then she joined the Boston University School of Management.

[9] In 2001 Ross was founding editor of MIS Quarterly Executive, and she was Editor-in-Chief for some time.

Ross' research is focused on "how firms develop competitive advantage through the implementation and reuse of digitized platforms.
