In 1999, Parker moved to Los Angeles, where he worked as a storyboard artist on the Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot animated series while contributing art to a number of short stories featuring the Escapist and Buffy the Vampire Slayer for Dark Horse and various ancillary Batman characters for DC.
