Jennifer Anne[1] Nielsen (born July 10, 1971)[2] is an American author known primarily for young adult fiction.

[3] Jennifer was born and raised in northern Utah[4] and completed her first full manuscript, on picking locks, at the age of 11.

[6] The paperback reprint of The False Prince put her on The New York Times Best Seller list in March 2013.

[7] The False Prince received a starred review from Publishers Weekly.

[8] Nielsen lives in Northern Utah and is a practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
