Jens Bull

He played his most important role during World War II, when he represented his country in Stockholm, Sweden.

He was born in Christiania as the son of Ole Bornemann Bull (1842–1916) and Kaja Constance Steenberg (1855–1939).

He was the eleventh of fifteen children in his family,[1] and his younger brother Johan Bull was a notable illustrator.

He was hired in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1911, worked with international law and was a delegate to the League of Nations from 1921 to 1924.

[1] Following 9 April 1940, when Norway was invaded and subsequently occupied by Nazi Germany, Bull took part in various negotiations, being dispatched to non-occupied Stockholm in Sweden.
