Jens Ernst Wegener

He was the father of painter Gustav Theodor Wegener.

Wegener succeeded Jacob Saxtorph as principal of Jonstrup Seminarium in 1819.

His daughter Johanne (Hanne) was married to the paper merchant and art collector Wilhelm Wanscher.
