Jens Haugland

Jens Haugland (16 April 1910 – 2 May 1991) was a Norwegian jurist and politician for the Labour Party.

He worked as a jurist in Stavanger and Kristiansand and was district stipendiary magistrate (sorenskriver) of Setesdal.

From November 1955 to August 1963, during the third cabinet Gerhardsen, Haugland was Norwegian Minister of Justice and the Police.

During the fourth cabinet Gerhardsen from September 1963 to 1965, he was Norwegian Minister of Local Government and Labour.

During this period his seat in parliament was taken by Trygve Hanssen, Salve Andreas Salvesen and Olav Tonning Munkejord.
