[24] Workman's 2024 documentary, Secret Mall Apartment, premiered at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival[25] to wide acclaim.

[32][33] Following Secret Mall Apartment, Workman began filming a documentary in South Korea about a tiny boarding school in which all 20 students are North Korean defectors.
