Jerre Stockton Williams (August 21, 1916 – August 29, 1993) was a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Born in Denver, Colorado, Williams received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from the University of Denver in 1938 and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 1941.
He was in the United States Army Air Corps as a Captain from 1942 to 1946.
[1] On April 14, 1980, Williams was nominated by President Jimmy Carter to a seat on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit vacated by Judge Irving Loeb Goldberg.
Williams was confirmed by the United States Senate on June 18, 1980, and received his commission the same day.
