Jerry Lee Unruh (born November 21, 1939) is a retired Vice Admiral in the United States Navy.
Enlisting in the Navy in 1958, he was later selected for the Naval Aviation Cadet (NAVCAD) program, earning his commission as an Ensign and his wings as a Naval Aviator in 1961.
As a career fighter pilot, he flew the F-8 Crusader and F-14 Tomcat.
[2] Over 20 years after retiring from the U.S. Navy, on September 14, 2020, he joined other retired senior military leaders by endorsing President Donald J. Trump for reelection.
