Jesse F. Stallings

Jesse Francis Stallings (April 4, 1856 – March 18, 1928) was an American lawyer and politician who served four terms as a U.S. Representative from Alabama from 1893 to 1901.

Stallings completed preparatory studies and was graduated from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 1877.

[1][2] He was admitted to the bar in April 1880 and commenced practice in Greenville, Alabama.

[1] Stallings was elected by the legislature of Alabama as solicitor for the second judicial circuit in November 1886 and served until his resignation in September 1892.
