Jesse Johnson (February 20, 1842 – October 31, 1918) was an American lawyer and judge from New York.
He was a member of the Dartmouth Zouaves, but he didn't enlist or fight in the American Civil War.
[3] In 1883, Johnson unsuccessfully ran as a Republican for the New York Supreme Court Justice in the 2nd Judicial District.
[5] In 1889, President Harrison appointed him United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
Sarah died in 1897, and Johnson then married Mary Adaline Prichard of Worcester, Massachusetts.
