Jessica Jade Toale (born May 1986)[1] is a British Labour Party politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bournemouth West since 2024.
[2] Toale attended the University of York, graduating with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
[citation needed] She was a political adviser to Labour MP Ivan Lewis from 2011 to 2013, in his role as Shadow Secretary of State for International Development and later Northern Ireland.
[10] On 20 September 2024, the local by-election for her vacated council seat was won by Conservative candidate Tim Barnes.
[11] In the Starmer ministry, Toale serves as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
