Jharkhande Rai

He belonged to Bhumihar Brahmin community and was an eminent leader and one of the pillars of the Communist Party of India in Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh.

[1][2] It drew wide support from a largely agrarian society, in which neither religion nor caste was a factor[1] and Jharkhande Rai represented the aspirations of the toiling masses.
