James William House (September 14, 1948 – December 5, 2018) was an American farmer and a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Arkansas.
In 1971, House received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from the University of Arkansas.
He served in the United States Army in 1971 and 1972 and was stationed in South Vietnam.
From 1974 to 2000, House worked for the Arkansas Department of Health as an area manager.
House died on December 5, 2018, in a tractor mishap at his farm in Washington County.
