Joan Thiele

Alessandra Joan Thiele was born in Desenzano del Garda, Brescia, to an Italian mother from Naples and Swiss father of Colombian descent.

[4] She spent her early childhood in Cartagena, Colombia, before moving back to Desenzano del Garda with her mother after her parents separated.

The following year, she released her first single, "Save Me", and first extended play, Joan Thiele.

[10] In March 2020, she released Operazione oro, her second extended play and first in Italian.

[2][11] In September 2021, she was featured on the song "Proiettili (ti mangio il cuore)" by Elodie, included on the soundtrack of the film Burning Hearts, and was awarded with the David di Donatello for Best Original Song.
