Joanne Marcotte is a Canadian libertarian[1][2][3] political activist and one of the founding members of the Réseau Liberté-Québec.
[4] She made a documentary, L'illusion tranquille, and wrote an essay criticizing Quebec's social democratic economic system.
She was active in the Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) from 2003 to 2009.
She holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Université Laval and is pursuing a master's degree in public affairs.
