Jochen Breiholz is a German opera manager who has worked internationally, in Riga, Antwerp, Theater an der Wien in Vienna, and from 2021 at the Opéra National de Lyon.
Born in Oldenburg, Germany, Breiholz studied literature, theatre, musicology and art history at Free University of Berlin.

[1] In 2002 Breiholz moved back to New York and worked as a correspondent for several European publications, reporting on opera, classical music concerts, and theatre.
In early 2016 he was appointed Director of Artistic Administration and Casting at Theater an der Wien in Vienna,.
