John Joseph "Jodie" Whire (June 11, 1910 – February 9, 1983) was an American professional football fullback who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL).
John Joseph Whire was born June 11, 1910 in Albany, Georgia.
[2] He was on the Bulldogs' freshman team in 1930 and became a varsity letterman in 1931.
[4] He appeared in three games, starting one, for the Charlotte Bantams of the American Football League in 1934.
