Joe Plazek (born January 25, 1961) is a Canadian stock car racing driver.
He was a three-time New York State Fair Champion and also won Rookie of the Year honors while competing in the Canadian premier touring stock car series.
Within a few years he started racing a Sportsman on clay ovals and then moved to a modified in 1983.
[3] Plazek competed successfully on both sides of the Niagara Frontier as well as in Central New York State, He captured the 1995 track championship at Cayuga County Fair Speedway along with back-to-back track championships in 1996 and 1997 at Canandaigua Speedway NY.
Plazek had to share his only title at Ransomville Speedway NY in a tie with Danny Johnson.
