Joe Whitman

Joseph Daniel Whitman (born September 17, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the San Francisco Giants organization.

Whitman grew up in Hudson, Ohio, and attended Hudson High School, where he set the Ohio state record with ten saves as a junior in 2019.

He only pitched 5+2⁄3 innings over two seasons for the Boilermakers before he would decide to transfer to Kent State.

[4] For his performance on the year, Whitman earned first team All-Mid-American Conference (MAC), and was named the MAC Pitcher of the Year.

[5] Whitman was selected by the San Francisco Giants with the 69th overall pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.
