Joel Ayala Almeida (20 December 1946 – 27 January 2025) was a Mexican trade unionist and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
Joel Ayala Almeida was born in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, in 1946.
He remained in that position until his death in Mexico City on 27 January 2025, shortly after he was sworn in for a further six-year term in December 2024.
