Johanna Knowles Woodwell Hailman (1871–June 28, 1958) was an American painter known for her floral paintings and scenes of industrial Pittsburgh.
Hailman née Woodwell was born in 1871 in Pittsburgh.
[1] She was the daughter of the Pennsylvania painter Joseph R. Woodwell.
[1] Hailman was a member of the American Federation of Arts and the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors.
[1] Hailman exhibited her work at the Palace of Fine Arts at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago,[3] as well as the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis and the 1915 Panama Pacific Exhibition in San Francisco.
