John Amandus Aae (26 October 1890 – 12 January 1968) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.
He was born in Jämtland, but grew up in Snillfjord Municipality.
As Ny Tid now sided with the Communist Party, Aae and others established a Labour newspaper Arbeider-Avisen.
Aae had to flee to Sweden in 1942, and worked as the camp director at Kjesäter from 1943 to 1945.
