John Wilfred Barter (6 October 1917 – 17 December 1983) was a British Conservative Party politician.
[1] He contested the seat unsuccessfully in the general elections of 1966 and 1970.
[2] In 1975, he became chairman of the Ealing and Acton Building Society.
He died at Cromwell Hospital in London on 17 December 1983, at the age of 66.
