John Marshall Blust (born June 4, 1954) is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly, representing the state's 62nd House district, including constituents in Guilford county.
[3] In 2000, Blust was elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives, where he served until he declined to run for re-election in 2018.
[4] In March 2016, Blust officially announced his candidacy for the United States House of Representatives for North Carolina's newly redrawn 13th District.

He is set to face Democrat Marjorie Benbow for election to a full term.
