John Commins (cricketer, born 1941)

John Eugene Commins (6 November 1941 – 2 January 2013) was a South African cricketer.

[1] Commins, a leg-spin bowler, had a good debut season for Western Province in 1960–61 when, aged 19, he took 22 wickets at an average of 18.50, including his best figures of 5 for 32 against Eastern Province.

In January 2013, Commins was murdered in Cape Town, aged 71.
