John Delisle

John Amos Delisle (November 24, 1871 – December 27, 1940) is a former provincial politician from Alberta, Canada.

He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1926 to 1930 sitting with the United Farmers caucus in government.

The second choice ballots of Independent candidate Luc Lebel were counted, and Delisle was declared the winner by 21 votes.

On August 21, 1930 Judge Taylor conducted a judicial recount and declared Dakin elected by four votes.

[4] Delisle attempted to win his seat back by running against Dakin for the second time in the 1935 Alberta general election.
