John E. Flynn

John E. Flynn (April 10, 1912 – September 23, 2003) was an American politician a from New York.

He was born on April 10, 1912, in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York, to John and Mary Agnes Drohan Flynn.

As a young man, he developed a hard work ethic while working at the Alexander Smith Carpet Mill in Yonkers.

[2] He entered politics as a Republican, and was Mayor of Yonkers from 1961 to 1966.
